Hey, I’m Flor Aguilar, a multimedia artist based in Dallas, TX. My creations are a reflection of my childhood and the rich tapestry of cultures that raised me. I believe that art should be an experience and easily accessible. I create because it’s a documentation of history, thoughts, beliefs, fantasy, and truths. Art is a universal language when all fails. Naturally, Mexican artisan culture has been my gravitation. I love incorporating recycled materials, textiles, patterns, and various print techniques across all mediums. As a result, I have fused traditional folklore styles with modern materials and skills to develop my own personal identity within my community.
